Bols is a brand name used by Lucas Bols, a Dutch distiller of alcoholic beverages. Lucas Bols N.V is a Dutch public company in the business of production, distribution, sales and marketing of alcoholic beverages. In 1575, The Bols family opened their first distillery in Amsterdam and claims to be the oldest distillery brand in the world.

Lucas Bols was born in 1652, during the Dutch golden era, when the Netherlands were a colonial power and led the world in international commerce. The Dutch East India Company, of which Lucas was a major shareholder, brought many exotic herbs, spices and fruits back to Amsterdam which were used to create new liqueurs and genevers.

Bols Blue Curacao is a blue-coloured liqueur with a palate full of fresh and tangy orange flavours. This legendary liqueur was once known as Crème de Ciel, and is one of the oldest and most famous expressions from Bols brand. It is beautifully coloured and has powerful orange flavours that work well with summer cocktails such as Margarita Azul and Blue Hawaii.
