Terms & Conditions
1. Organiser
The World Cup Fever: Guess & Gain Campaign (“Campaign”) is organised by Mr.Chow Liquor Store (“Organiser”).
2. Eligibility
The campaign is open to any participant who fulfils the following criteria:
a. Aged 21 and above
b. Non-Muslim
c. Possess a Malaysian address (West Malaysia)
3. Steps to Join
Step 1: Sign up as a Mr.Chow Liquor Store member or is an existing member and have made any purchase of alcohol from the Organiser from 1 Jan 2022 to the ongoing dates of the World Cup Fever: Guess & Gain campaign.
Step 2: Pick a Team - Choose your favourite team participating in the 2022 World Cup.
Step 3: Answer the Bonus Question - Guess the number of total goals that will be scored at the end of the 2022 World Cup.
Step 4: Wait for game results and receive prizes whenever eligible.
4. Campaign Period
The campaign commences on 14 November 2022 and concludes on 20 November 2022 (11:59 PM).
Any participation attempts before or beyond the stated period will be rejected.
5. Selection of Winners
5.1 Winners for ‘Pick a Team’ will be rewarded with an RM15 cash voucher after every winning match of a selected team. Winners will only receive the accumulated prize amount after the selected team’s last match in the 2022 World Cup.
5.2 Participants of ‘Answer the Bonus Question’ that share the same correct score or guess the closest to the real number will share a pool prize worth up to RM1,000, of which will be divided equally among all winners.
6. Winner Entitlements and Prizes
The World Cup Fever: Guess & Gain winners are entitled to the following prizes (“Prizes”):

6.1 Pick a Team
Example 1:
John Doe selects Brazil. Brazil wins five (5) matches and loses on the sixth (6th) match. John Doe receives five (5) vouchers; RM15 x 5.
6.2 Answer the Bonus Question
Example 1:
The number of total goals at the end of the 2022 World Cup is 110.
Jane Doe guesses 110, Jackson Dee guesses 98, & Jessica Ding guesses 150. Jane Doe wins the full pool prize amount because she guesses correctly.
Example 2:
The number of total goals at the end of the 2022 World Cup is 110.
Jane Doe & Jackson Dee guess 110, & Jessica Ding guesses 89. The pool prize will be divided among Jane Doe and Jackson Dee.
Example 3:
The number of total goals at the end of the 2022 World Cup is 110.
Jane Doe guesses 108, Jackson Dee guesses 200, & Jessica Ding guesses 120. Jane Doe wins the full pool prize amount because she guesses closest to the correct number.
6.3 The selection of team for ‘Pick a Team’ is final and shall not be amended upon submitting the participation form.
Example 1:
John Doe chooses and submits Brazil as his choice of team in the participation form. After four (4) matches, John Doe wishes to support France. John Doe may not do so.
6.4 The maximum vouchers distributed for ‘Pick a Team’ is seven (7) per participant.
6.5 The free match-win voucher worth RM15 expires on 31 January 2023 (11:59 PM).
6.6 Vouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash.
7. Winner Announcement
Winners of the World Cup Fever: Guess & Gain campaign (“Winner Announcement”) will be contacted by the Organiser by the end of the campaign via WhatsApp and announced on the Organiser’s social media (Facebook and Instagram).
7.1 The prizes will be presented within one (1) week from the date of the announcement and acknowledgement from the winners. If prizes are unable to be presented within the stipulated timeline due to unforeseen circumstances, the Organiser will contact the winner to make new arrangements.
7.2 If a selected winner does not respond within (1) week from the time they are reached out to, the Organiser reserves the right to eliminate said winner and reselect a new one.
7.3 All said vouchers will be granted upon the conclusion of the 2022 World Cup.
8. Disclaimer
The World Cup Fever: Guess & Gain campaign is an online prize giving contest strictly only involving user participation where no transactions will be made for gambling purposes.
9. Personal Data Collection
Upon participation, the Participant (“Participant”) agrees and consents to the Organiser collecting, using, and processing the Participant’s personal information for the purpose of:
a. Providing services pursuant to the Terms and Conditions herein.
b. Internal administrative purposes such as data analysis and database records.
c. Contacting the Participant should there be any business and customer-related inquiries.
9.1 The Participant promises that all information provided to Mr. Chow Liquor Store is true, accurate, and complete.
9.2 Mr. Chow Liquor Store will annul and shall not be held responsible for any errors that occur due to inaccurate or unchanged details by the Participant (e.g. new address).
10. Other Terms and Conditions
10.1 The Organiser reserves the right to revise the campaign mechanisms at any given time without any prior notice.
10.2 The Organiser is not responsible for any losses and damages inflicted on the participants throughout the campaign.
10.3 By participating in this campaign, the Organiser assumes that the participants have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein.
