Description

Bombay Sapphire's name derives from gin's popularity during the British Raj in India and was developed to create a differentiated brand from the more traditional British London Dry Gins.

Previously owned by Diageo, Bombay Sapphire is now owned by Barcardi and their new distillery is housed in Laverstoke Mill in rural Hampshire. The gin is produced in England and made from a base of neutral spirits distilled from wheat and malt. After going through triple distillation, it is then flavoured through a slow infusion process with a blend of 10 botanicals including juniper berries, coriander seeds, citrus peel, and liquorice root.

Carefully crafted and bottled at 47% ABV, Bombay Sapphire is a perfectly balanced gin.

Sweet and aromatic with fresh citrus, juniper, and angelica.

TO THE PALATE

A tongue-coating texture with earthy notes, tart sweetness, spice, pine, and a soft drying juniper-pepper spiciness.

TO THE END

Sweet and lingering finish with juniper and peppery spice.
