BenRiach 22 Year Old Albariza, RICH, is a member of our PEATED range. Initially aged in AMERICAN OAK casks, the whisky is later refined in PEDRO XIMINEZ SHERRY casks.

The term 'Albariza' refers to the regular white soil used to cultivate grapes for sherry production in the Andalucia area of Southern Spain.

Bottled in its natural color and unfiltered, the whisky is a remarkable blend of flavors.

TO THE EYES:

Gleaming amber gold.

TO THE NOSE:

Warm, honeyed peat smoke holds gentle touches of garden mint infused with sweet dates and chocolate fondant.

TO THE PALATE:

A crisp sherried sweetness combined with dark chocolate, Victoria plums and rum-soaked raisins, all surrounded by an earthy, campfire smoke.
